Senior Account Manager - Account Director

November 2017

 

As we continue expanding, we are looking for a senior Account Management professional to join the team.

You have grit and don’t crack under pressure. Your outstanding project management skills together with your inter-personal intelligence allows you to execute complex projects with a high degree of autonomy whilst keeping spirits high.

Experience and qualification

 

  • 6 – 8+ years of experience across relevant disciplines including brand consulting, design and advertising.

 

Key tasks and responsibilities

 

  • Business Development
  • Grow revenue with existing clients through new projects and additional scope
  • Assist with writing new business proposals, scoping documents and budget estimates under the guidance of the firm’s leadership team.

 

  • Account and project management
  • Under the supervision of the Group Account Director, manage projects across their various phases, including brand strategy, design and implementation, doing what is within your powers to ensure they are delivered on time and budget
  • Draft and manage project plans, resourcing plans and timelines
  • Liaise with clients at key project milestones and on a day-by-day basis to discuss matters regarding the approval of proposals, scheduling of meetings, sign off of deliverables and the general execution and delivery of projects
  • Assist to select, negotiate with and co-ordinate contractors and partners required from time to time to deliver projects
  • Undertake project related administrative and logistic tasks including invoicing to clients, scheduling meetings and liaising with external suppliers

 

  • Contribution to deliverables
  • Provide input and feedback to deliverables executed by market researchers, brand strategists, designers, copy-writers and other internal and external resources

 

  • Process and systems
  • Help to maintain and improve on processes and procedures supporting the client services and office management functions at PUSH

 

Salary

 

  • The title of the role will reflect your experience and level of responsibility. We assume that you will join us as either a Senior Account Manager or Account Director
  • Attractive remuneration commensurate to candidate’s experience.

Account Coordinator (12 month fixed term contract)

November 2017

As we continue expanding, we are now looking for an Account Coordinator to be the glue that holds our multi-disciplinary team and shiny new office together!

With an interest in getting a foot in the door to agency Account Management, you are passionate about brands and keen to roll up your sleeves. Inquisitive, enterprising and business savvy, you are a confident team player who loves to take initiative. You have great attention to detail, strong organisational skills and strive to exceed expectations.

A background/internship in marketing, advertising, design or business administration is a great advantage in your application. However what matters most to us is that you have the right mindset and enthusiasm to excel in our field.

 

Desired skills and attributes:

• A confident and outgoing person who knows how to engage with people of different degrees of seniority

• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail

• No task is too big or too small, all taken on with gusto. You approach writing meeting notes with the same focus as making that perfect latte for a client!

• The importance of office management is acknowledged and taken on with pride

• Very good written and oral English skills

• A positive attitude with curiosity and desire to learn

• Competent Microsoft office skills – especially PowerPoint and Excel

 

Key Tasks and Responsibilities

1. Account co-ordination

• Coordination and daily management of projects including accurate financial, timeline and resourcing management

• Prepare account service related documents such as agendas, meeting notes, Weekly WIP’s and other relevant client communication

• Assist senior Account and Strategy team members in executing tasks that are part of all phases of projects

• Assist in the background research and preparatory tasks for pitches and new business proposals

• Formatting and proof reading presentations

2. Executive assistance

• Provide support to the Managing Director and Executive Creative Director, including diary management and travel arrangements

3. Office Management

• Welcome clients and visitors to the office, set up meeting rooms and look after refreshments

• Assist with general office management activities, including booking flights, ensuring key internal documents are kept up to date, office supplies are properly maintained and the fridge and cupboards are stocked appropriately with drinks and snacks

• Assist with and sometimes lead internal PUSH initiatives such as team building activities, events and general office upkeep

4. Social media and marketing support

• Depending on your know-how in social media, you could be involved in PUSH’s ongoing social media activities. This may include finding content and coordinating postings for Twitter, LinkedIn and other channels

 

Salary

• $42,000 per annum inclusive of superannuation at 9.5%

 

Location

• The role is based in Fitzroy, Melbourne

 

Terms

• This is a 12 month full time contract. Applicants must have the right to work in Australia for the duration of the contract. No employer visa sponsorships are available for this position

 

Expected start time

• Late Dec 2017/Early Jan 2018

Associate Strategy Director - Senior Brand Strategist

  • In previous roles you are likely to have held the role of ‘Creative Strategist’ or ‘Creative Planner’ and have accrued significant experience in developing brand strategies and working closely with creative/design teams to generate inspiring creative platforms
  • You have worked on both international and local brands across a variety of industries and brand challenges

 

Key tasks and responsibilities

 

  • Project Scoping and Delivery
  • Reporting to PUSH’s Strategy Director, you will work on brand discovery, analysis of trends, market research, brand propositions, brand architectures, innovation roadmaps and new content to bring strategies to life
  • Design the methodology and run consultations, workshops and market research assisted by specialist support as required
  • Work closely with our creative team to generate creative ideas, naming, verbal identities and executions
  • Collaborate with our collective of specialist partners, the client team and its own agencies to develop strategic recommendations on how to bring the brand to life across multiple channels and programs, involving UX, advertising, PR, employee engagement etc.
  • In scoping and delivering, you will either take the lead role or support the Strategy Director and Managing Director, depending on the scale and nature of the projects

 

  • Business Development
  • Support the firm’s partners and leadership team to articulate and pursue new business opportunities
  • Write and present proposals, pitch responses, and project plans
  • Represent PUSH in profile building and business development events, such as conferences, seminars and university lectures

 

  • Team management
  • Supervise and coordinate other strategists and collaborators as part of project teams inspiring them to deliver the highest quality work in a timely and personally satisfying manner
  • Contribute to maintaining and building PUSH’s culture of collaboration and experimentation

 

Title and terms of engagement

 

  • The title of the newly created role will reflect your experience and level of responsibility. We assume that you will join us as a Senior Brand Strategist or Associate Strategy Director but we are open to discuss a different title if appropriate
  • Attractive remuneration commensurate to candidate’s experience
  • Different forms of engagement can be considered: permanent or fixed term, full-time or part-time (minimum 4 days/week)
