We did it again. Following the success of last year’s conference with brokers, the reinsurance group WAICA Re invited us back – this time to facilitate and deliver keynote sessions at a three-day conference with CEOs of insurance companies from across Africa and the Middle East.
Held in Singapore in July, the 2026 Cedants Conclave explored the theme 'Creating and Sustaining Competitive Advantage in an Age of Disruption'. Against the backdrop of confrontations in the Strait of Hormuz, heatwaves and floodings, conversations focused on the forces reshaping the insurance industry and the strategic responses needed to thrive in an increasingly uncertain world.
Erminio Putignano and Samuelson Appau engaged participants in the exploration and prioritisation of possible approaches to creating competitive advantage while navigating the complexity and uncertainty facing the sector.
